I am excited to share that I have established my first non-profit organization: the Connie Priscilla Scholarship Fund. This Fund was created in memory of my two grandmothers, Connie McBath and Priscilla Brown. For their many investments in my life, and the lives of countless others it has been my desire to pay that forward in the lives of the generation behind me in an area I really value..education.
The Connie Priscilla Scholarship Fund is an emphatic advocate for higher education that will:
• Assist students wishing to go to college in the form of textbooks, tuition, and room and board.
• Assist students in low income neighborhoods and also students from single parent households, seeking financial assistance to attend school.
• Focus scholarship efforts on students who exemplify hard work, leadership and community service.
• Do everything possible to equip and help students compete at a high level in all of their studies, stress the importance of giving back to the community through service and encourage them to reach for their dreams.
With that said, I am hoping you will partner with me. My goal for the upcoming Fall 2015 semester is to send three students off to college with at least $1,000 each. With the combination of the Fund and your generous efforts, I feel we can reach our goal of at least $3,000. Please feel free to share this with any other friends, family or colleagues of yours that may be interested in partnering with us to invest in the lives of our future leaders. **Please note that all donations are Tax Deductible.** Thank you for taking the time to consider this wonderful opportunity, and I look forward to partnering with you!
