Hi all, I have had so many people reach out and ask what they can do to help. It is difficult to say what my family and I need at any given moment. We are working hard together to keep our home in order while I am away at MD Anderson in Houston TX but the kids, Mark, and close friends are able to manage. Our biggest things are the travel and medical expenses. I decided, after long deliberation and lots of prayer, to set up a go fund me account. My family and I are not good at asking for help with these things. I'm seeing a lot of expenses since I am away from home. I am currently in an apartment as the temps. have been over 100 for the last 20 days. We initially were going to bring our camper but it would have been very tight quarters and very hot. My peeps have been taking turns coming to care for me by cooking meals, cleaning, and getting to multiple appointments each day. I have doctor visits, speech visits, Radiation every day, and Chemo once a week for 4 hrs. Social Services helped us find the apartment though a group called Joe's House for short term rentals.

Mark and I made the initial 12 hr. trip down in the truck so I could bring a few comforts from home. As you all know, I love my home and miss it dearly. I miss the quiet, wild life, and green grass under my bare feet.

I only ask for your help because so many have asked what can they do?

At this point this is the only thing I can come up with.

My family and I appreciate any and all help and live by a pay it forward life style. We have done so much for so many over the years this is why I am willing to finally as for help.
