Medical expenses

Hi my name is Kendy Barker and I am

fundraising for Courtney Hood. Courtney is a kind loving mother of 2 and a wife to Jonathan Hood. Together they are trying to make ends meet with paying medical bills and trying to raise their two wonderful children Cutter 10 and Penelope 1 month. On 5/3/22 Courtney went in for a biopsy of the breast. Unfortunately she got the news on 5/5/22 that she has breast cancer. She was 37 weeks pregnant with Penelope so instead of going full term they had to take her on 5/10/22. Penelope had to stay in the hospital while mom and dad came home to get prepared for fast action towards her breast cancer. She has stage 3 invasive ductal breast cancer that is triple negative meaning very aggressive. She will undergo 16 rounds of chemo 12 weekly and 4 bi weekly. On top of all this she is having seizure activity on the day of chemo and is now being told she can’t drive. She will have 6 weeks of radiation daily after chemo then a double mastectomy surgery following radiation. Courtney just started a new job so with all that, finding out she has BC, Penelope being a newborn and mom wanting to spend time with baby, Cutter and dad it is a very emotional time for her.
