Dream Team at UF is a student run 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that volunteers with the patients and families in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at UF Health Shands Children's Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. We have weekly volunteers that participate in a variety of different activities bedside with the children. Many of our patients are awaiting heart transplants and stay in the hospital for extended periods of time. Our initiatives for the kids include providing company, arts and crafts, video games, holiday activities, celebrating birthdays, and so much more.
