Kevin’s Road To Recovery

We set up this page to support Kevin with his medical bills and living expenses. Due to the nature of his condition a long road to recovery awaits him and are uncertain when he may be able to return to work. BACKSTORY:

In June, Kevin accepted a job at Mount Sinai Hospital and moved to NYC. On the weekend of August 8th, Kevin was visiting friends and family in CT.  He began experiencing excruciating headaches, tongue and facial swelling, difficulty swallowing, along with neck pain.  He was taken to L&M Hospital emergency room where a MRI revealed a tumor was compressing his cranial nerves.  Kevin was then transferred to Yale-New Haven Hospital and later to New York-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell Medical Center into the hands of experts for further evaluation.

Kevin has since undergone extensive imaging, a minimally invasive biopsy, and an open biopsy with tumor debulking.  The doctors are now trying to identify the type of tumor Kevin has and create an effective treatment plan which may require chemotherapy, radiation, and possibly another surgery.


We believe in Kevin and have faith that he will fight through the daunting challenges of this diagnosis. We also recognize that your friendship and support is crucial to the days and months ahead and for that we again thank you.
