Never did I imagine I would be creating something like this for someone so special to me. My Mum,

Lena is in the fight of her life having been diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. Returning from her first fight in 2020. Pancreatic cancer is a silent cancer with no symptoms and is often detected when it’s too late with a very low survival rate.

We received the devastating news that Mum has now been diagnosed with Mets to her liver and lymph nodes. Doctors have told us that this is terminal and surgery is not an option.

Mum's determined to live and won’t give up without a fight. We as a family unit are daily looking for options to help her get through this and live longer.

The cost of medical bills, daily life bills and doctor/specialist appointments there is a struggle to keep up financially, as mum has now stopped working. Mum is someone who has always put us girls before herself, so today my Sister Alyssa and I have decided we would reach out to our family and friends as we cannot do this on our own.

Many friends and family have asked how they can help, we feel like this is a hard ask which is why we want to stress that we do not expect from anyone but if you’re willing to help donate we would be forever grateful.

As many of you know Mum is a strong woman who always puts her loved ones before herself. So we wanted to do this for her and put her first in this situation.

I thank you all with all my heart - at 50 years old she has so much more life to live and with the support and help from others we are hoping to prolong her life!
