Rick’s Recovery

Rick suffered a stroke in August, which resulted in a 4 month hospital stay. He was released home with limited  therapy to help get him back up on his feet - he is not yet able to stand or walk without extensive assistance, and is unable to talk. He requires hospital equipment and further therapy to help him get back to being independent, which comes with a cost. Rick is currently not working due to his physical inabilities, so the only income that he has is EI. Although that helps for minor bills, it is not sufficient to cover his monthly expenses.
