Hey everyone, as most of you know Jess spent the last 5 days in the hospital. Heres a quick story of what happened.
Jess has been having gallbladder issues for a little over two years. Last Thursday evening I was at the airport and Jess called me and told me she was having a gallbladder attack. After about two hours of an intense attack she decided to go to Huntsville Hospital. After a few hours at HMH they decided they needed to take her by ambulance to Conroe Regional to have emergency surgery because her gallbladder was about to rupture. She had surgery Friday morning but due to the infection they kept her through Monday to fight the infection that had spread in her abdomen.
As almost everyone knows, spending time in the hospital can be very expensive. Not only paying on the hospital and doctor bills, but gas traveling back and forth from Conroe to Huntsville, prescriptions, food, doctor appointments, and all the other stuff that goes along with the stay.
To be completely transparent and honest about everything, we are asking for help in paying our monthly bills. As humbling and kind of embarassing as this is to admit, this stay has completely depleted all the money we had in our savings account, and our checking account as well. What we need is $2,800 dollars to be able to get back on track for this months bills as well as next months expenses including doctor visits and monthly expenses.
This is really humbling and we never thought we'd be doing a “go fund me” but this very unexpected medical emergency has left us without any options. Any help at all is greatly appreciated.
