Steve and Sylvia Pult, along with their three boys Esteban, David, and Nathanael are a beautiful family who love Jesus. Steve is a teacher at a high school and Sylvia is a secretary at a middle school. They are both a big part of their community and the Pult family are dearly loved by their family and friends.
In March 2014 Sylvia was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer. After going through surgery, chemo, and radiation everyone was hoping she would be in the clear. Recently, Sylvia began experiencing new symptoms. She went to her doctor and was hit with devastating news. Sylvia had been misdiagnosed and treated for cervical cancer when in fact she has uterine cancer. Not only was she misdiagnosed, but the doctor also told Sylvia that the cancer was in her lymph nodes and it was only a matter of time before it spread throughout her body. Sylvia was given a 15% chance of survival with little time. Also, the doctors are refusing to give her any chemo treatments. As you can imagine, this was devastating and shocking to the family.
Through the tremendous pain that comes with news like this, Steve and Sylvia prayed. Sylvia was reminded of a doctor that she heard about that treats cancer patients with a holistic approach. Steve and Sylvia decided to not give up and seek treatment through Dr. Forsythe at his Century Wellness Clinic in Nevada. Sylvia's treatments will last 3 weeks with a cost of over $36,000. We are setting a goal of $40,000 to help cover the treatments plus travel expenses.
