Amanda needs a break!
My cousin Amanda has always been a trooper and puts on a brave face, but her lupus, rheumatoid arthritis and auto-immune thyroid issues have flared up really badly this time and she has had to cut back on a good deal of her work. The doctors are trying to figure out if she might have a blood infection. They don't know, and the medical bills are piling up.
She is an amazing professional photographer and is always giving me tips and advice for free. I appreciate her generous spirit and her entrepreneurial savvy. But its hard to be an entrepreneur when you're as sick as she is.
Meanwhile she is a mom of two amazing little boys...
To top it off, their AC unit is broken and needs $2400 in repairs (a friend is willing to do it at cost for them) and they live in Memphis. They NEED AC ASAP to get through the hot southern summer!
But wait -there's more. Her husband is a hard worker and is doing his best, but his car broke down and needs $1200 at least to repair it. It's 10 years old. Is it worth it? I think if they had a little bit extra, they could (and should) put it towards a new(er) more reliable car, and I'd like to help them with that.
Ever feel like everything came on your plate all at once and overwhelmed you? I have. Amanda will get through this, but she sure could use some help right now. So if you can, pitch in a little to alleviate her stress. Stress has a lot to do with her health problems and it is hard for her body to heal while she is as worried as she is.
Her mom is able to help with the boys, but let's help with everything else.
