I am Tala Alghusain, a resilient third-year dentistry student from Gaza city with a heart full of compassion and dreams. Since my childhood, I aspired to follow in my brother's footsteps and become a dentist, driven by a passion to heal and serve our community. Despite the trials of life, I worked hard on my dream, only to have it shattered by the horrors of war.

Six months ago, our world was torn apart by conflict in Gaza, forcing us to abandon our home, studies & life. Now, we are displaced. My once-promising future hangs in the balance as me & my family struggle to survive amidst the chaos. With no access to basic necessities like electricity and water, every day is a battle for survival, marked by hardship and uncertainty.

But amidst the rubble of despair, I cling to hope, dreaming of a brighter tomorrow where I can once again pursue my dream & make a difference in the lives of others. My greatest wish is simple yet profound: a safe haven for my family & myself.
