Home Going Celebration

Dear friends, family and loved ones. My mother, Ms. Shelia Mitchell, lost her battle with COVID! Thank you for all the prayers, well wishes and outpouring of love and support that was shown during this time. I know that my mama would have GREATLY APPRECIATED it! I know we were not ready or prepared for this outcome but we know God is in TOTAL control and has the final say. He allowed us to be here with her and spend time with her, and to experience her love and Godly wisdom. And with that said, one thing about my mama, she was a God-fearing, God-praying, God-believing, God-loving woman and would not want us to be sad for her. She would want us to rejoice because she is going on to glory. I pray that God blesses each of us with the "peace that surpasses all understanding" and surrounds us in His love and comforts us like only He can. Going forward I will update you all on final details as needed. Lastly, I just want to say thank you Lord, for your Son Jesus, who died for our sins and with His death gave us the chance at eternal life. And I know she now gets her chance at eternal life!
