Leslie Barger's Death and Living on
Donation protected
Thursday night, April 14th, an amazing woman by the name of Leslie Phillips Barger-mother, daughter, sister, friend, artist, teacher, and mentor-passed away due to a horrendous, tragic, accident. All that were lucky enough to know her were moved by her, and she is responsible for many saved lives throughout her lifetime. Some knew her as Leslie, Les, Mz. B, Mrs Barger, Momma, or Lady Bird, but to know her in any way, was to love her. She touched countless and had monumental impact for every single person she encountered.
She was the only ray of sunshine in a world of darkness for hundreds of people. She gave people the will to live on when they saw nothing but evil in the world. She could make anyone laugh no matter how hard the situation was. She was brilliant, gifted, artistic, and special. She was one of the most vibrant and caring people anyone could be lucky enough to enounter.
Her life was filled with adversity, but that never stopped her from protecting her loved ones and selflessly putting their needs above her own. Sadly, while she emotionally supported countless people, she also was the primary and sole financial caretaker for her loved ones in many ways. Due to a plethora of complicated circumstances, she was unable to save much money, and had only recently been unable to continue paying her life insurance. The family will need money desperately to assist with funeral arrangements and any outstanding debt she had from her many medical issues, as well as her student loans from her masters degree, that may be passed along.
Devestatingly, her beloved treasure, her concert buddy, one of her best friends, her very reason for living in this world, her daughter, witnessed the event occur. She may need money for counselling in order to cope with this tragedy. She also lost her father, Leslie's cherished and dear husband, on March 10th 2013. She has many people reaching out to her, but this will be incredibly difficult, and she will need and appreciate unendingly any support she can get. Even the smallest donations will help immensely. Leslie would never have wanted her daughter to go through with this, so what is left of her family begs of you and thanks you all for anything you can do. Her daughter also plans on attempting to continue her education, which will be another financial concern for the family as we move along without this magical woman in our lives.
