Poppy-Mai Charity Truck Pull
Donation protected
Ever wanted to pull a truck? Well now is your chance…
On Saturday 18th June 2016 Burnley & Pendle Strongman will be holding a truck pulling competition for the amazing and gorgeous little girl Poppy-Mai.
Poppy-Mai fell terminally ill last month with a rare form of brain cancer. Poppy-Mai was given just days to live from her diagnosis. Poppy-Mai has put up an amazingly strong fight and is showing the world just how strong she is.
Eddie Stobart have had a truck made in honour of Poppy-Mai. This exact truck will be waiting on the start line along with a 14 tonne dumper truck from Durkin Premier Landscapes, a long wheelbase van from Michael Toms Stationers and a tractor from a local farmer. Our team of strongman will pull and pull until they literally have nothing left.
Burnley & Pendle Strongman want to raise money to fund a project being driven by the parents of Poppy-Mai. The project consists of opening a camp / retreat site for other terminally ill children like Poppy-Mai. All proceeds will go towards this amazing innovative project. Details of this charity can be provided in more detail if required.
You may have seen the use of hash tag #StrongerTogether. Well here we are, let’s be stronger together and use this great sport to demonstrate this to the world.
The truck pulling competition will have a theme, all lifters are required to dress as a super hero of their choice. As this is a children’s charity let’s make it all about the children. How amazing will it be for a child to come along and watch their favourite super hero pull a truck in REAL LIFE. Not something you see every day!
The crew will be wondering around the venue with collection buckets on the day but here is the Go Fund Me campaign as promised. We have a goal of £2000.
We have extensive media coverage and the support of Burnley Football Club.
Please get in touch if you have any questions.
Any donation you can afford will be massively appreciated.
Thank you.
