Recovery for Josh.

Hello, my name is Kala da Silva. I am raising money for my brother in law, Josh Perkins.

Josh went to the hospital on Oct.31st with what we thought was a broken toe/foot. Unfortunately the damage was worse than we could have ever imagined. Josh had his right foot amputated the morning of Nov.1st.

I am raising funds for his rehabilitation, along with bills he is unable to pay. Josh will have a very long recovery ahead. I don’t want him to have to worry about not having a home or any help when he does get out of the hospital.

Our family would be forever grateful if we could raise our goal, we are unsure of the cost for his prosthetic foot at this time.

We appreciate any help, ALL funds go to Josh Perkins & his lovely daughter. To make sure they have a home as well as anything Josh may need when he is able to come home.

Nov.6th: Josh has undergone a second surgery to prepare for a prosthetic.

Photo is from our first visit, just before he went in for his second surgery.

Nov.9th update: Josh’s father Rod, has been able to secure a storage unit for the remaining items Josh will have.

***UPDATE**** Josh will still have his apartment when he recovers. Unfortunately he will have no way to cover expenses when he does return home. His current residence is not at all accessible. At this current time we will be looking for accommodations that are fit for Josh’s needs.
