12/9/25 UPDATE!
Good news: As of last Friday this fundraiser was able to pay half of one month's rent! Today, little Mama "Angie" is sick!
As the family's primary breadwinner, this is more bad news - she has some genetic issues that have kicked up recently, adding to the family's stress. Many thanks to all who have donated - if you can share this with others, you could possibly multiply the help. Thank you for considering!
(UPDATE: Thanks to all who have given! We've reached the level of about 1/3 of their monthly rent which is already overdue [$425 of $1200!]. Please help by Sharing this link).
My first try on GoFundMe. I'm 78 and a co-owner of Town & Country Cleaning Services since its founding. This is my first GFM effort ever - it's also a case of strong need for a friend who is embarrassed to ask for help.
We’ve all been in an unwanted "hole"—a place that scared us, left us feeling like we couldn’t find a way out.
Today, a young friend and their family are in a truly deep hole. The husband was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with a serious condition. That was several weeks ago. He's now on antibiotics and will soon need surgery, meaning weeks out of work and a severe loss of income. Their once-tenuous situation is suddenly dire and frightening: they are facing eviction from their apartment and the repossession of their car (vital for work!) They have several children who need a secure home. This crisis has prompted me to take a first-ever step: starting this GoFundMe. I pledge to ensure every dollar goes directly to "Angie's" family (or providers) for immediate necessities, like:
*Keeping their home (rent)
*Groceries
*Essential car and gas needs and
*Paying Hospital bills as possible
- Please donate today and help us save their home and provide stability while they recover. Any amount will make a difference. Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday - please consider helping this little family in need. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
Prayers are appreciated, too!
Sarah
