Help Amanda Martinez Fight Appendiceal Mucinous Neoplasm Cancer

Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

We are reaching out on behalf of my mom.

After an unexpected health crisis, Amanda (Espanola, NM) is facing a new and overwhelming challenge.

Earlier this year (Aug. 2), Amanda underwent emergency surgery for appendicitis that turned complicated and led to a serious infection. After weeks of recovery, she finally started to regain strength - until the biopsy results revealed something no one was prepared for: Stage 4 Low-Grade Mucinous Neoplasm, a rare form of cancer.

Her treatment plan is now being developed, but she already faces significant financial strain. Amanda is currently unable to work and struggling to cover everyday living expenses like rent, utilities, etc. She now faces another uphill battle-more surgery, ongoing treatment, and overall a long road ahead.

This fundraiser has been created to support Amanda as she begins her cancer journey and focuses on recovery.

Amanda is a strong and caring Mother, daughter, sister, aunt & friend who has always given to others - Now it's our turn to give back to her. Every donation-no matter the size, goes directly to Amanda as she begins this new journey. Prayers & sharing her story makes a difference, too.
