UPDATE 8/31/2022

I’m finally home! After spending 20 days at Sharpe hospital I’m home! 

Bittersweet I am home because I still have a JP Drain and tubing in my stomach draining out infectious fluid. Please send prayers and good energy that I’m able to get the tube removed and the infection and abscess will resolve itself in these upcoming weeks. I’m having a hard time walking due to the pain, but everyday I feel my steps are getting stronger and faster, I GOT THIS! 

Now as some of you know, I developed a lot of medical issues over this time due to my ovarian cysts, gastroenteritis, inflammation of intestines and pelvic area, and severe abdominal pain. I wasn’t aware of all the existing health issues I had/have, but I’m grateful for the hospital stay because now we have identified my condition and can take the proper steps to manage and heal myself.

The condition I have is called Peritonitis, the inflammation of the tissue that lines the abdomen and covers the internal organs (peritoneum). There is actually no cure for this newly discovered condition I have, however thankfully it IS manageable

Nobody knows when I will be fully healed and back to “normal”, but we are hoping and praying it’s sooner than later. Everyone keep faith and good spirits for me, positivity is the best medicine for me right now.

Being we are in America, none of this is free. From my hospital stay, 3 Ct scans, 4 ultrasounds, 3 MRIs, and 3 jp drain procedures, along with medicine and antibiotics, I’m a bit scared to check my mail and see the bill lol, won’t be small forsure. With that being said I’m asking you all friends, family, strangers to please share my gofundme and if able to donate it would be greatly helpful and appreciated. Every dollar counts and the more shares means we can reach more people for support and also bringing awareness so more people can speak up and not feel alone carrying these type of medical obstacles. I’m so grateful for the women reaching out to me that have ovarian cysts because though I’m not happy we have these, I’m happy we are feeling less alone and can have support or an ear to listen that understands living with this.
