Moving expenses

My parents, Tim and Colleen Skulley have lived in Gunnison for over 32 years. Tim use to be the head chef at the Quarter Circle restaurant, a local favorite for many many years until he was diagnosed with Hepatitis C approximately 24 years ago. As a CNA, Colleen has helped take care of many of the long time elderly locals in the valley until she officially retired a year ago at the age of 72. For the last 11 years, they have lived in the same house and have filled the home with a lot of love, laughter, and lifetime of belongings. Unfortunately, their home will be selling and we are now in the struggle (with many, many others) to find affordable housing. The selling of their home was not something that they ever anticipated and were therefore unprepared. Colleen and Tim are on a fixed income and living on the low wages of their social security, the expenses associated with moving, such as first, last, and deposit on a rental are not funds that they have readily available. Our hope is to keep them in the Gunnison Valley where they can be close to me (their daughter) and their one and only grandson whom they adore. The money gathered will go to cover the costs of moving into a new home and anything is appreciated, including prayers and well wishes. Thank you all so much for your help!
