Jasmyn's Ovarian Cancer Fund
Donation protected
My name is Richard Bingham (Herring), and this is my daughter, Jasmyn, who is 8. I want to share her story with you in hopes that you will have in your heart to donate any little bit that you're able towards helping Jasi get the treatments needed--in the best possible place that can treat this very rare cancer that she has.
Jasmyn has had a very healthy lifestyle up until August 14th. Jasmyn started hurting one day at school with stomach cramps, and ended up at the E.R. Her blood count was off, indicating to them that something was wrong. This led them to take a CATSCAN, in which they found a TERAtumor that had consumed her ovary. They declared that she needed emergency surgery to get this taken out.
Once out of her body, it was measured at 9CM... this is as large as some human hearts.
For 3 and a half weeks, everybody waited on the results pending from the TERAtumor that was removed.
Monday, September 14, 2015: the results came back that confirmed that the TERAtumor they removed was indeed cancerous. This cancer they discovered is a very rare form that the doctors are not very familiar with. The doctors said that if Jasi does not undergo Chemotherapy, the cancer will have a 50% chance of coming back; if she does undergo Chemotherapy, it will only be a 5% chance.
With that being said, Jasi has a very long road ahead of her. She will begin Chemotherapy as quickly as possible and will have AT LEAST a 2 month stay in the hospital, along with being homeschooled afterwards until her immune system is back to normal.
Any amount of donation would be greatly appreciated towards Jasi's road ahead to beat this battle with cancer.
Please keep her in your prayers, as well. We want to keep her as comfortable and happy as she can possibly be during this trying time.
Thank you all in advance.
Jasi,
"Be still.
The lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."
