This is for our mutual friend Deb Smith, in an effort to keep Deb and Rip together a few more weeks. No fault of Deb’s, 2025 was not kind to her. After finding herself homeless and jobless, a “friend” offered shelter in their home.

This ended up being one of the worst situations Deb has been in. The kind of folks that if your multiple medical diagnoses don't include cancer, you're not really sick. “If you can drive, you should be able to clean the house, the pool, etc.” Oh, your stomach’s in turmoil? Well, go take a drive anyway, it wouldn't be the first time someone *soiled themselves*.

These people were not charitable or helping; they were grooming an indentured servant.

The result of questioning some unveiled aggression was kicking Deb out of their home, in a frenetic rage, the night before Christmas Eve.

Deb has been working on improving her situation. A friend is setting her up in a nice RV. Unfortunately, the day Deb was mercilessly kicked out, her friend with the RV was hospitalized with the super flu.

There is light at the end of the tunnel. We just need to keep Deb and Rip together another week or two.

$64 keeps her and Rip sheltered for a night. There is no contribution too small to be of help in this situation.

The people Deb has cared for the most over the years have failed her in dramatic fashion in her time of need. Please help me show her that her chosen FB family can show more love than some of her blood family.
