Sympathy Gift for the Genovese Fam

GoFundMe has asked me to make the following changes so that the purpose of this campaign is more clear. Please reference the changes below to learn more about me, as well as the fundraising campaign I've organized via GoFundMe:
My name is Maria Swieciki. I live and work in the Bronx as a high school teacher in the NYC DOE.
This page was created as a medium for students from the PHS Class of '09 to donate money for the family of Teresa Genovese, a fellow PHS alum. This past weekend, Teresa's twin brother, Matt, tragically passed away during the blizzard. After learning about this horrible loss, Ava De Luca suggested that we, Teresa's friends and former classmates, get some money together to do something for her family. I really liked Ava's idea, and decided to organize a GoFundMe so we could collect money and send the Genovese Family some type of sympathy gift, such as flowers or an edible arrangement.
Once we find out details about the wake and funeral, I most definitely want to send a large floral arrangement to the funeral home on behalf of the PHS Class of '09. With the additional funds, I think it'd be a nice idea to send an edible arrangement to the Genovese Family's home in the Bronx. My mom also suggested making some type of donation in Matt's name, perhaps to Fordham Prep or Fordham University?
These are all ideas we can discuss together on the Facebook event page I created. I'm open to any and every suggestion, so feel free to post any ideas you have.
