Lydia's TeachNOLA Internship

As most of you know, 8 months ago (Yikes over half a year allready?) I moved to New Orleans to be a part of Immanuel Community Church, a new church plant in the city. While the past 8 months have been full of ups and downs I firmly believe I am right where God wants me.
I recently got accepted into a program called TeachNOLA. This means this summer I will be taking an upaid internship, taking classes, and learning as much as I can. In August I will be teaching English in New Orleans. (YAY!) Through most of may Gofundme will match $100 thanks to #thankateacher initiative if you donate!
New Orleans is a high need area for teachers who are willing to stick it out, and I am excited for an opportunity to serve a city I'm learning to love more and more every day.
Here's where you come in. While I am working and saving what I can now, May through July will be coming quickly. Because of the nature of this internship (12+ hour days) I will not be able to work. I will also be moving into the neighborhood ICC is hoping to plant in this summer. Any help would be wonderful, as being an adult is expensive I'm learning. I am raising money for rent and basic living expenses. If you feel so inclined to give that would be wonderful.
I have experienced so much generosity from friends and family in the past. You all are pretty darn great. I'm really looking forward to keep you updated on this crazy journey.
