Hello, my name is Kimberly Hernandez and I am a first generation Latinx college student. I come from a hardworking, immigrant family that has pushed me through high school in order to get to where I am now. I am following a dream my family and I have wished for for years. I am the first in my family to attend college.
I can’t depend on my family to pay for my tuition any longer because these are expenses that are unimaginably hard to pay, especially since I am the eldest child. These college expenses are too much to pay for when they have more mouths to feed.
I am an aspiring author and artist. Leaving this education would simply break all of our hearts. I know this is a lot to ask for but it would be amazing if you could help me pay the $3k that I am short on. I will be immensely grateful for your contribution.
