Mason is a first year teacher and coach at the middle school here in Buckhannon and is well loved by his students and co-workers. Mason has a fierce spirit and inspires so many of our youth to use their creativity and skills in the classroom and on the field!

   As some of you may have heard, Mason was diagnosed with COVID-19 at the beginning of October and placed on quarantine. His health began to decline rapidly, he was taken to a local hospital and then transferred to a larger facility. Since his first admission Mason has been placed on the ventilator and ECMO. His healthcare team and the lifesaving machines have been an absolute blessing. However, with this comes a hefty medical bill and a significant amount of time off of work. His condition is still somewhat critical, but we have hope that he will be back to enjoying a normal life before we know it!

   Mason can't wait to get back to the classroom, but until then, he could use our help as he is not getting paychecks at this time.
