UCLA Student-Produced Short Film 'Cedar Mountain'

Donation protected
"Cedar Mountain" was conceived months ago during a summer film course, along with new university requirements for the graduation capstone project. Soon, the troops were rallied and a heart felt story detailing the college experience came to light. Written by Isaiah Bowes, "Cedar Mountain" provides us a journey of growth, connection, self-discovery, and straight up FUN.

The soul of “Cedar Mountain” is the love, heartbreak , and freedom of expression within the mountain itself. A place that is so special, fulfilling, free, and yet, so dangerous. Where college kids go to live their youth, explore their wild sides, and experience freedoms like never before… but at what cost? This piece is for us, for humans, and to anyone whose ever wanted to let loose.

Since our department does not have the supplies to help us fund this project, we decided that this story means too much to us to not create it in full. SO, as a completely self-produced entity, we need YOUR assistance to help us with funding for cameras and lenses, costumes, props, transportation, and other production needs.

Join us up the mountain & stay tuned!
