Hello everyone,
For those of you who do not know me, my name is Danny Mora Howard. I’m a Film major at the University of Central Florida. Pursuing a career in Film has been my unwavering resolution ever since the fourth grade when I made the important decision of what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Ask anyone who has known me over the years and they’ll tell you about my consistency when it comes to the pursuit of this passion for Film.
Earlier this year I was enrolled in the Creative Producing Summer Sessions at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). The Summer Sessions is an 8-week program in which I will be taking three classes during the weeknights at UCLA, and I will be working at an internship during the daytime. I was blessed with the opportunity of being offered an internship position at the end of the first interview I had over the phone with a company in Santa Monica. I accepted the offer and the position is confirmed.
The only obstacle in my way is the tuition of the Summer Sessions. The $4,500 tuition covers the course fees as well as the campus amenities. I have raised $1000 so far on my own while working part-time at Valencia College and while balancing my classes at UCF.
This fundraiser was created with the intention of proposing to anyone who comes across it to consider joining me on my journey of raising the money necessary for me to attend UCLA this summer. The deadline to pay the tuition is May 1st. I would be dropped from the program if I didn’t pay the tuition by May 1st, but I don’t see that happening because I believe and trust that God will provide the way for me to attend the program.
A good friend of mine pointed out to me that this is the beginning of an exciting shift for my life, and I couldn’t agree with her more. Any donation you give is a blessing regardless of the amount.
