Jordan in the house! I hope this message finds you all in good health and high spirits. I am reaching out to you today with exciting news! A once in a life time opportunity has presented itself to me. I am excited to announce I have been selected among numerous applicants to attend the prestigious UCLA Film School AND SOCAPA (School of Creative and Performing Arts) competitive film academy this summer! This is a significant step towards my dreams of becoming a filmmaker, and I am reaching out to you for support.

UCLA and SOCAPA Film School is both renowned for its immersive programs, providing students with a comprehensive education in filmmaking, directing, producing, and editing. I really can't even believe I got into both but I did! The welcome letters brought tears to my eyes as I didn't even think my project would be selected and make the final cut. This experience will not only enhance my knowledge and skills but also open doors to future opportunities in the film industry, my passion. Attending both UCLA and SOCAPA will allow me to learn from the best industry professionals, collaborate with like-minded teens, and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of filmmaking, including Youtubing.

I have worked really hard over this past 2 years to refine my skills (via film club at my school) and knowledge in the world of film. Through countless hours of studying, practicing, and creating short films, I have developed a true passion for storytelling through the lens of a camera or even my phone . My dedication to this craft has not only shaped my artistic abilities but also taught me valuable lessons in teamwork, creativity, and perseverance.

While being accepted into both UCLA and SOCAPA's summer film intense is an incredible honor, the program's tuition costs pose a significant financial challenge. The total cost of both programs which includes meals, trips, room and board, and the invaluable learning experience both on campus and at Universal Studio, amounts to $7685. Through work and help of my mom, I have been able to afford $3185 which covers almost one program but I am in need of $4500. Unfortunately, this amount exceeds our financial capabilities, making it difficult for me to seize the UCLA opportunity without the assistance of my family and extented family.

I kindly request your support in the form of any donation towards my tuition to UCLA Summer Intensive Film School. Any contribution, will go a long way in helping me achieve my dream. Your generosity will not only provide me with the means to attend these programs this summer, but also demonstrate the power of community when in need.
