UCL Psychiatry MSc team steps for Young Minds
We (Sonia Johnson, Sarah Rowe, Naomi Glover, Lisa Wood, Annie Jeffery & Luke Sheridan Rains) are all involved with the MSc in Mental Health Sciences programme in the Division of Psychiatry at UCL. We're fundraising for Young Minds, as we're particularly concerned with the pandemic's effects on young people's mental health and we'd like to support the great work that charity is doing, including for students.
Our aim is to walk 6 million steps between us in a 100 days, finishing by 1 May 2021. It's harder than it sounds when all needs to be part of the daily exercise and we aren't getting in steps as part of the daily commute or walk to the coffee machine!
You can see our progress here: Step tracker . If we don't make it, we'll offer a suitable proportion of your donation back and make up the difference ourselves!
If you are in a position to do so, we'd be delighted if you'd help us out in fundraising for this cause - the mental health of young people is likely to be one of the more important issues in the months and years to come.
Thank you very much for any support!
