Support for Ryker

Donation protected
On April 16th, Nicole and her son Ryker were viciously attacked outside of their home, as a result of a domestic violence incident. Ryker, who just had his 2nd birthday this past weekend, was hit by a shotgun blast to his face and hand and was transported to Henry Ford Allegiance Health where he was stabilized and then air lifted to C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor. As a result of his injuries, Ryker has had five surgeries in the past 24 hours to repair his face, hand, arm and lungs. He had titanium placed in his jaw and surgeons have reconstructed his mouth, gums and nose. Ryker now has over 100 stitches in his face post-surgery and is still listed in critical care with a ventilator and feeding tube installed in his stomach. He has a long road of recovery ahead with more surgeries to come.

We are enlisting your help to raise funds to assist with any medical expenses, lodging, travel, lost wages and any other expenses incurred during this difficult time for the family. On an immediate basis, any financial contributions will be used to allow Nicole to continue to spend her time with Ryker without worrying about the small burdens of these daily expenses.  In a time where family remains at the forefront, let’s help remove one small burden from the family.

The funds for this campaign will be given to Connie McCarthy, who is Nicole's mother.
