UChicago Fiji's Barbecue for Ray

This year, Fiji will host the first annual Ray's Barbecue on May 20th, 2018. The event will be at the chapter house, 5615 S. University Avenue, from 2pm - 5pm. All brothers and graduate brothers of the chapter are invited.
This event is in honor of Ray Gadke, a man who mentored many of us (including myself) over my time at the U of C. Ray was an incredible man. The depth of his character and wisdom always amazed me. Perhaps more so, for myself and for all Ray's Rangers before me, Ray was a great friend. Ray was always willing to listen and offer advice; he was a constant force in a sea of variables.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 towards the Ray Gadke Internship Fund, a fund created in 2015 by friends of Ray to honor his work and commitment to the U of C. The fund is part of UChicago’s larger Metcalf Internship Program, which offers undergraduate students paid experience in their chosen field.
