Thank you for visiting our GoFundMe page. Harmony FEC (Family Entertainment Center) in Cleveland, Mississippi has been six years in the making and we are finally set to open summer 2015. Join us in our journey to COMPLETE HARMONY. Harmony FEC will be a safe, smoke free, family oriented facility that will house sixteen lanes of bowling, a spacious arcade, extensive snack bar, and party rooms for birthday parties and other private events. This will be the first new bowling center built in the Mississippi Delta in over fifty years. We have worked very hard to make this dream a reality, and we are overwhelmed by the amount of support we have received. Those of us that are affiliated with Harmony FEC have raised our families in the Cleveland community. We have reaped the rewards of living in such a close-knit place, and it is time for us to give back.
Harmony FEC will offer new jobs and entertainment for the people of the Mississippi Delta. We will reintroduce bowling as a fun, competitive, family sport for people of all ages and will work with schools, youth programs, churches, businesses and other civic organizations to set up group activities and to help with fund raising efforts. Once the center opens, we will also be able to apply for many of the federal educational grants and other types of grants that are available. Harmony FEC is ready and willing to raise the quality of life in the Mississippi Delta.
Harmony needs your support now. We invite family, friends, and bowlers everywhere to make a contribution. Rising building costs, many weather delays and unexpected city specifications have exhausted our budget, and we need to COMPLETE HARMONY now for all to enjoy. Harmony FEC will still need other equipment to maintain the center itself such as a lane-oiling machine, ball-drilling machine and other necessities for the facility. The bowling lane equipment (lanes and gutters, ball returns, furniture, shoes, balls, computers with software, etc.) will be on the way from California in the next few weeks, and we must have our building ready for this installment.
With every donation, Harmony FEC will put your name on an engraved plate that will be permanently displayed at our entrance. Everyone is welcome, and we encourage you to give a donation as a dedication or memorial to the bowlers in your lives!
