Uche's Interlochen Summer Music Camp
Donation protected
I recently got accepted into the Interlochen Summer Arts Music Camp on Violin for the 6 week Orchestral Intensive and although they gave me a scholarship of $4,000 for financial-based aid, there is still an outstanding amount of $4,780. I currently attend Savannah Arts Academy and I'm a junior. I've only been playing Violin for a little over 2 years now and I am currently/ have been a member of the Armstrong Symphony Orchestra for 1 year and sat in First Violins. I also have made All-State on Violin and sat 10th chair in the first Violins this year, on top of that I have sat as Assistant Concertmaster in this year's Savannah Arts Academy Mastery Orchestra and Pit Orchestra's. I also play my violin around the community in nursing homes/hospitals and have recently formed a quartet with my fellow peers from school and the Armstrong Youth Orchestra program to assist me in a program I created called MusiCare that assists nursing homes and hospitals in strengthening or even creating a music therapy program for their patients. I would really believe that me attending Interlochen will seriously assist me in my passion for creating and spreading my love for music and I think the connections and tools that Interlochen has to offer will really assist me in my goal towards auditioning for conservatories in the fall. Any amount will help if you can, the money is all due before the 24th of June so anything helps between now and then
