UCD Science Society's Sci-Cle to Galway
Donation protected
Every year 100+ members of the UCD Science Society embark on a 200km 'sci-cle' from Ireland's east-coast to west-coast. Starting from Dublin and heading to Galway over the course of two days. This is all in aid of the Children's Medical & Research Foundation (C.M.R.F), with the money raised going directly into the hands of the C.M.R.F
The beneficiary of this project is the auditor of the Science Society Patrick Donlon. All donations are summed from online donations and cash donations and submitted to Crumlin at the end of each academic year in a cheque hand off ceremony. The bank account in which the money gets transferred to is an account in the name of the UCD Science Society adminstrated and maintained by Mark Pickering and Maebh Browne. The Society Headquarters are located in the North of the science building on the Belfield Campus in Dublin, Ireland.
