My name is Brenda and I have a wonderful, yet very sad story to tell.  There is a very loving family in need of some help and I feel very honored to be reaching out to all of you to make this request.

As of January 13th, 2016 a decision had to be made to remove Brennan, age 3, off of his ventilator and now this family is agonizingly staying by his side until the peacefulness of God carry's him to his happy place.  The cost of final resting is so much and I know that this wonderful family would be so greatful for the help the community can give.

Brennen's story:  Bren was born on March 7th, 2012 after being snuggled by his mother for only 26 weeks.  He was born at 2lbs 2oz and 13.19 inches long.  Due to being born so early Bren was diagnosed with Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD).  This is a very severe lung disease due to his underdeveloped lungs.  After spending the first 165 days in the NICU unit at Shands Bren developed a blood clot in his right atrium, over time all of Bren's organs began to shut down and he began to develop serious brain damage.  Bren suffered from failing kidneys, siezures.  Finally by May 22, 2013 Bren received a trach because of the obstuction of his airways.  This little fighter never gave up.

You may believe that this is a sad story of an unhealthy, precious, baby and the heartache of one family but it is not.  Little Brennen has brought so much love and joy to the lives of so many, certainly more than I could ever affect.  Through the love of a devoted, dedicated and loving mother Bren was able to help other families and experience some very powerful moments.

Brennen has always been a joy to others and his happiness shined through with every beautiful smile.  His mother, grandmother, uncles, grandfather all were so blessed with the ability to give and get love from such a miracle.

Here is my plea to all of you.  Please reach into your hearts and find a way to help this deserving family as the go through the heartache of putting Brennen to rest.  They are a modest family and I know would be so thankful for everyone's support.  Please look into your hearts and help send this lil Angel home.  My gratitude, and that of the family is beyond words for everyone's help no matter the amount you are able to give.  Each gift is a blessing, just like our beautiful boy Brennen who blessed his family and everyone he came in contact with during these last 3 years.
