Hey, we are UCB Azaad, a premier co-ed South Asian fusion dance team from Berkeley, CA! We proudly represent UC Berkeley in the Desi Dance Network (DDN) circuit by traveling across the country to compete at prestigious collegiate competitions with teams from all across the nation. This is Azaad’s 17th season and we are ready to make it our most unforgettable year yet!

This past 2026 competition season, our performances earned us a spot at Legends 2026, our national championship competition hosted in Austin, Texas this year! Legends is the final competition of the season that brings together the top 10 teams in the nation. For us, it represents all of the hard work, growth, and memories our team has tirelessly worked to build throughout the year.

We’re incredibly honored and excited to be competing on this stage this April against so many talented teams. At the same time, putting together a Legends-caliber set comes with significant costs, often exceeding $15,000, which covers travel, costumes, props, production, etc. Because of this, we’re humbly reaching out for your support.

Any contribution would go directly toward bringing our set to life and helping us put our best foot forward at Legends!
