Hope for Heather ❤️

As many people may know by now, Heather was involved in a devastating hit and run motorcycle accident this past weekend. She is currently in the ICU fighting life threatening injuries. It is hard to put into words what it’s like to see someone always so strong and full of life now broken and silent.
For anyone that knows Heather, it’s not your fault that you accidentally gained a best friend that day. She is a force of nature with an ability to make you love her. She’s the kind of person that just feels like family anywhere she goes. She is irreplaceable to so many that were accidentally best-friended across the map. When you think of the person that you want in your corner, at your party, by your side for one of life’s milestones, to explore with, or even cry with - she's the one. Her selfless nature and oversized heart push her to the forefront of your mind.
Heather is also a fighter, the strongest woman you will ever come across, literally. She is always proud to show you just how strong she really is! She will crush beer cans with her arms just to force a smile on your face or lift a full-grown man into a bear hug and bounce him like a baby just to get a rise out of everyone. Most of the time, they have no idea what just happened to them or why for that fact but they're never upset it happened! LOL! There is never a dull moment with her vivacious spirit in the room. Once you meet her, it is nearly impossible to forget her.
Currently, she is not the person I have described above. Although she is the same daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and girlfriend as she was before, she is very broken right now. Our girl is fighting the hardest fight of her life as you read this. This is not her first fight and we pray to God it’s not the last. We have never been prouder of her fighting spirit as we are right now.
No person should ever have to go through what Heather and her family are going through at this moment. She has an unbelievable challenge ahead of her physically, so we want to make any financial challenges obsolete as she begins this journey to healing. While we all have so much hope, we also have to be realistic. We are unsure if she will ever come walking up the driveway dragging her red cooler or if she will be passing out kisses to literally everyone anytime soon.
We have no idea what her financial needs will be, but we do know that this is not going to be a quick recovery. For this reason, we would like to ensure that Heather has at least 1 year of living expenses set aside while she recovers. No amount is too small or unappreciated.
Please help us spread this message by telling your friends, family, and co-workers to help us raise money for Heather. We ask that everyone support Heather’s family and her closest friends as we wrap our heads around how to best support our favorite girl during this time.
