Hi, I’m Marc Farley and I’ve worked as an actor in Atlanta for over 35 years. As a (mostly) gig worker, having a working automobile is vital for me to get around—especially on days when I have 2 different jobs on the same day in different parts of town. Well, this Friday my car went and did a silly thing—its transmission died. The transmission guy told me to replace it (parts, labor, warranty, etc.) would cost roughly $6000. As I don’t currently have $6000 in my pocket, I am taking this option to ask for help. I really didn’t want to have to go this route, but I simply don’t know what else to do. I know I can’t rely on the kindness of friends to give me lifts forever. Anything you could contribute would be greatly, greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!
