Every fall when the new school year begins, the UC Davis Triathlon Club recruits new and returning members to compete in the sport of triathlon. Swimmers teach newcomers the correct freestyle technique, cyclists give tips on cornering and drafting, and runners share their warm-up routine with others. By the time the race season begins in February the collaboration between members has transformed each teammate into a true triathlete.

In April our team has the chance to show our commitment to training in all three disciplines at the Collegiate Triathlon National Championships in Mission Viejo, California. We are fundraising to reduce the cost of travel, so that every athlete has an equal opportunity to showcase the hours of training they made time for on top of their college coursework. Your gracious support will help cover rental vans for our athletes and their bikes to travel 1000 total miles and multiple airbnbs to house 30+ athletes.
