UBWRFC Covid-19 Appeal

We are UBWRFC and we represent Women’s Rugby at the University of Bristol. We pride ourselves on not only our admirable achievements, but our inclusivity and our status in the Bristol student community.
Unfortunately, due to the implications of Covid-19, we now find ourselves in an incredibly difficult position and the future of our club at risk. The economic impact of this pandemic is far-reaching, and UBWRFC is not immune to the financial struggles faced by the University of Bristol.
We are proud to say that our club has become increasingly financially stable over recent years, sending out our iconic bobble hats to sponsoring companies across Bristol. However, with these companies struggling and the University of Bristol funding being diverting funding elsewhere, we find ourselves facing challenges we never anticipated. We remain optimistic about the future, we have strong roots, but we need your support to fund the upcoming 2020/21 season.
Our club would be immensely grateful for any contributions you are able to provide. With £5 you could help cover the cost of student-lead transport to local matches, and with £10 we can fund a club physio session for one of our members. Perhaps, like several of our current members, you have fundraising ideas of your own!
It's no secret, the best part of UBWRFC is, and always will be, its members and supporters. With your help, our club will be able to emerge stronger and more united than ever.
