We had an unforgettable experience representing Great Britain at the EUSA Football Championships, and we could not have got there without the financial support of this fundraiser. We have been completely blown away by the generosity on this page, so we would just like to say a massive THANK YOU for all the support!

We are the University of Bristol Women’s Football First Team and are raising funds to support our upcoming trip to the European Universities Sports Association Football Championships in Tirana, Albania, on 24th June 2023.

We have been selected to represent the UK at this prestigious competition after our most successful season ever, being crowned champions of the BUCS Southern Premier League for the first time in the University’s history!

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our football at an international tournament and is a testament to years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance to raise the profile and standard of Women’s Football at Bristol!

Unfortunately, we have received no financial support from the University to attend the competition, and the trip is, therefore, entirely self-funded. As a result, each team member has already made a significant contribution towards transport and competition entry fees, and we have worked hard to fundraise and secure sponsorship to reduce the financial burden.

However, we are still short of our target to make it to Albania and are asking for your help to get there! This fundraising target will help to cover the final part of our participation and entry fees and transport costs. We are very grateful for any contribution, big or small, which will help us reach our target and make it to Albania!
