KenDell Smith

My 17 year old cousin, KenDell Smith, was shot and killed Friday, February 2nd 2018, due to a guy he was familiar with playing around with a gun inside an apartment complex that went off. His mom had moved him to Louisville, Kentucky not even 2 years ago to escape the gun violence in Chicago, Illinois after he was shot in the shoulder headed to get a haircut. She left everything she had in Chicago to move to Louisville and has been trying to get on her feet. He  was currently a Junior at Fern Creek High School here. Now after this tragedy, she does not have the funds to bury her youngest child. She desperately needs the help and support from the public to help lay her boy to rest.
