Larrys Recovery

Our Uncle Larry was in a horrific car accident on August 20. He rolled his vehicle and was air lifted to St. Marys in Rochester, MN . He fractured multiple vertebrae’s in his neck and we didn’t know what the outcome was going to be. After undergoing a extensive 6 hour surgery he pulled through. We are forever grateful. Although he made it he was paralyzed from the waist down because of severe damage to the spinal cord. He will be at St. Mary’s for weeks possibly up to 3 months. This will be a very long road to recovery. Anyone that knows Larry knows what a kind, caring man he is. He was always helping everyone and anyone he could. If anyone needed anything he would say “ok no problem I’ll be right there” didn’t matter if it was 3am! He was always there for everyone and never asked for nothing in return. He was always happy to help and never complained. I know all of you that know him can definitely he always had a smile on his face. Also many of you can say he helped you out at some point whether it was a ride or something else. Now it’s our turn to help him. He needs us now more than ever at this point. The hospital bills are going to be astronomical. If we can all pull together I’m sure we can make this a easier transition! Thank you everyone!
