Support Melissa’s Long Covid Journey

Dear friends and community,

As many of you are aware, our dear friend Melissa McCulloch has been courageously battling chronic health issues stemming from long Covid. Melissa has been diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), conditions that have profoundly impacted her daily life since the end of June 2023.

These health challenges have proven to be debilitating, preventing Melissa from working consistently and drastically altering her quality of life. Anaphylaxis symptoms have become a constant companion, making every day a struggle. Despite this, Melissa, a cherished member of our community, has devoted her life to caring for others as a friend, mother, partner, and therapist. Now, it’s our turn to extend a helping hand.

In addition to the ongoing challenges, Melissa would likely greatly benefit from a stay at the Environmental Health Center in Dallas, Texas. This center specializes in rehabilitating patients like Melissa so they can regain their lives. However, the facility operates on a private pay basis, adding to the financial strain on the McCulloch family.

The financial toll of Melissa’s ongoing health journey would be overwhelming for anyone. However, Melissa, along with her husband Ryan and their two little girls, Willow and Adi, have shown incredible strength in the face of adversity. This family, accustomed to offering help to others, is now open to allowing us to support them during this challenging time.

Melissa’s unwavering spirit and the resilience of her family have inspired us all. Now, let’s rally together as a community to support them.
