My name is Shannon Pickering, and for the past 15 years I have considered the Lights as family. On Saturday, March 19th James Light passed away. One of his dreams was for all three of his children, Madison, Savannah, and Austin to graduate from Texas A&M University just like he and his wife, Misty.

Madison is on her way and will be graduating from A&M in May with a degree in education and will continue working on her masters next year. Savannah is a senior in high school and has already been accepted into A&M where she plans on pursuing a degree in communications. Austin is a sophmore in high school and plans on attending A&M upon graduation from high school.

All funds raised will be used to offset expenses for James' children to attend Texas A&M University continuing that tradition in his memory.
