Hi my name is Mark and I am trying to raise money for vets fees because the insurance has refused to pay out. Recently my boy Billy was seriously ill and given only a 20 to 30 percent chance of survival, he was diagnosed with severe pancreatitis. The vets are amazing and did everything to save him and happily they have succeeded but he has been left with diabetes and will be on insulin for the rest of his life. Billy was rescued from the Balkans by Second Chance dog rescue and came to me as a foster dog, I already had a blind Husky from Second Chance s I specialise in taking on disabled or elderly dogs and I also now volunteer for Second Chance. Billy came to me scared of all humans and it took me 3 days to even get near him but with love and patience he has learned to trust me, although he is wary of other people until he gets to know them, he is the gentlest most loving boy and never leaves my side. All my dogs are insured but unfortunately recently I changed Billy's insurance company because it had gone up so much. Unfortunately the company I now use has a 14 day cooling off period and just my luck I fell 1 day short of that when he became ill and was rushed in to the vet.

I've never asked anyone for a penny but now I am disabled and on disability I can no longer afford such a high bill. If anyone can help I'd be eternally grateful and so will my little fella Billy aka Billywhizz
