Cooper Family Fund

On May 5, 2018, our dear friend Curtis, was in a serious motorbike accident.  He suffered numerous injuries including 8 broken ribs, collapsed lung, broken scapula, road rash on several areas of his body, fractures to his face and head injuries. Curtis’ strong nature, feisty personality and steadfast determination is serving him well in his recovery so far. But this process of healing and his recovery is going at a very slow pace with no timeline of a full recovery in the near future.
 
Curtis is currently in hospital in Edmonton and Raylene has been there since the accident occurred.  Each day is stressful and uncertain and hard for us to imagine living through this. We wanted to help alleviate the financial burden felt so the focus of energy can be spent with Curtis through this recovery process.
 
Please consider any financial contribution you can make to help their family.  The funds raised will go directly to the costs for hotel rooms, parking, meals, travel and fuel costs and to help Curtis’ family specifically his boys to take time off work to be with him.  These funds will also be used for future rehabilitative costs.  Any funds not used will be donated to the STARS Air Ambulance.
