Baby's Operation for Hydrocephalus
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Rochelle Dashney, and I am a recent graduate of Arizona Christian University. This past summer, a group of students and I went on a missions trip to the Philippines. We stayed on the island of Bohol and worked closely with a community in the municipality of Calape. During our time there, we witnessed such an incredible picture of joy and hospitality in the midst of wreckage. Six months prior, a massive earthquake had devastated their community, leveling many of their homes and buildings.
Whether it be an eathquake, or any other struggle facing this community, I am continually humbled by their perseverance and unwillingness to admit defeat. However, due to their level of hardship and limited resources, certain misfortunes leave them powerless. It is because of this that I want to share with you the pressing need of a baby boy named J.O. Anthony. We met J.O. Anthony while on our trip in Calape. He has a severe case of Hydrocephalus, meaning fluid in the brain. He is one year old now, and as he grows, his condition worsens. Because of the cost of the operation, there is not much his mother, or anyone else in the community can do.
Through treating J.O.'s Hydrocephalus, we will not only prevent further damage to the brain, but also save J.O. from suffering serious developmental and intellectual complications in the future. With your help, I know that we can raise the money needed to provide a life-changing opportunity for this baby. Please consider giving even a small amount!
Thank you!!
