Jamie's Warriors

My sister, Jamie Mesiano, was diagnosed with breast cancer in February at the age of 30. Her cancer went undetected for over a year with no warning signs. In early April, Jamie successfully underwent a bilateral mastectomy to fight the disease.

Although a total shock to Jamie and our entire family, Jamie has taken on a devastating diagnosis by sharing her story with others and openly talking about her breast cancer. It is her hope that her story might empower and educate other women to get the care they need. After all, knowledge is power.

Jamie is the mother of a beautiful, bright 5 year-old daughter, Maddison. She is a daughter, a sister, a friend, a niece, an aunt, a cousin, a fighter.
