Support Family After Devastating Fire

On August 11th in the early afternoon, my daughter’s house caught fire. The neighbor below her condo had a propane tank that exploded. Within just seconds, the flames engulfed the balcony which ignited the inferno in the living room leaving no time but to gather what was most precious to her, that being her two small children and her beloved dog’s ashes. They fled without even shoes on their feet leaving their soles blistered from the hot pavement outside. Sadly, they have lost everything. Above all, I am praying and hopeful too, to get Haley, Will, William

and Edie the desperate help they need to get through this unimaginable loss and try to start to rebuild and put their lives back together or some semblance of it. With your donations you will be providing help with items such as clothing, housing, medical, food and any other needs they will certainly have. At this point however, we aren’t even aware of what those needs look like as they begin this long journey “back home”.

I praise God that we will be able to celebrate William’s birthday on September 1st and his sister’s soon to follow in October as this catastrophe could have turned out so differently. I don’t know how this will affect any of my family at this point. Will put his life in jeopardy getting home to his family as quickly as he did and continued to secure their safety. Haley is experiencing nightmares when trying to rest and we have no way of knowing how this will affect the children. Their sadness was manifest in their faces. How does one so young process this incredible loss?

I don’t know how they will process this incredible loss of not only their home and all their favorite things, but also the place that provided them comfort, safety, security, happiness, peace…..love.
